Family Concert- Local 164
- March 26th, 2017
- PWYC at the door 5$ (suggested donation)
- 60 mins
Sweet harmonies, ballads, working class epics and lost highway blues. In a world of digital content that seems to sound more and more the same, Local 164 play an authentic and spirited brand of country music inspired by great country artists of the 20th century like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Ralph Stanley.
They released their first recording Dreams From Belle County in 2014 and have been busy playing local country haunts like the Cameron House, The Dakota Tavern and East End family favourite, Merchants of Green. They were also named one of the top 5 alt-country bands to look out for by Toronto-based blogTO.
This is a Pay-What-You-Can event. Tickets are avaialble at the door. $5 suggested donation.
